Ventana has a long history of supporting worthwhile causes around the Lower Mainland, either financially or with our time and services on projects where construction experience is beneficial. It’s a way for us to give back to the community that has helped make us successful. It’s also the right thing to do.

For the last three years, Ventana site and office staff helped install the scaffolding and Christmas lights for the Lights of Hope project at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, which helps raise money for the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation. In the past, our staff has contributed to Habitat for Humanity as well as to the Pacific Autism Family Centre.

Ventana makes annual donations to a number of local charities, including the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, BC Children’s Hospital, Union Gospel Mission, The Province’s Empty Stocking Fund, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation and CKNW Orphan’s Fund.

We also match charitable donations from our employees. This year, Ventana employees made significant contributions to Movember to raise awareness of men’s health issues, as well as the Quest Food Exchange program. Previous employee initiatives have raised money for Red Cross disaster relief as well as a number of cancer and health-related charities.
