Pre-construction, value engineering, sustainable strategic planning and construction

Cypress House and Pine House in Wesbrook Village are two six-storey, wood-frame residential rental buildings designated for University of British Columbia (UBC) faculty and staff.

The 164,000-square-foot development has 175 suites consisting of one, two, three and four bedrooms. The two buildings share a 62,500-square-foot parkade. The buildings were constructed semi-concurrently with the second building completed six weeks after the first.

UBC applies Residential Environmental Assessment Program (REAP) Gold standards to all residential properties. Cypress House and Pine House are certified as REAP® Gold.
