Design-build, pre-construction, value engineering, sustainable strategic planning and construction
The Derby Manor is a 115,000-square-foot, five-storey,
wood-frame seniors’ housing development with 122
self-contained suites, communal dining, social and
recreational spaces and exercise rooms.
This BC Housing-funded project is located at 7550 Cumberland Street adjacent to the George Derby Centre on the Derby Village Lands in Burnaby.
The George Derby Care Society collaborated with Ventana and DYS Architecture on design and value engineering while securing funding.
Green building design and construction elements were incorporated into Derby Manor.
